ABOUT US
ORGANISATION PROFILE
As the voice of Indonesian business community in Western Australia, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce was formed by local Indonesian businesses with unified aspirations as an ecosystem in which we can prosper. The inspiration has always revolved around the members, and our ability to provide them with invaluable access to opportunities.
Our story is about connectivity. Our members include the professionals, the executives, and individuals of all ages, from all walks of business. Our strong and supportive network provides them with up-to-date information, unparalleled access to opportunities, a robust business events program, a diverse membership database, and a voice to potentially impact Indonesian Government policy.
Our focus will center in a growing relationship, through playing our roles in increasing and strengthening trade and investment, between Western Australia and Indonesia.
And it is our members who create it; we simply provide.
OUR VISION
Our vision is “To be an engaged chamber, providing premium opportunity and value by being the driving force behind business people, learning, networking and growing together.”
We are dedicated to being a strong and effective advocate for the local Indonesian Business Community in Western Australia.
The Chamber will take the lead in shaping a powerful community vision – stimulating dialogue, building a balanced community with an equal emphasis on quality of life and quality of business.
Developing Businesses, Building Communities.
OUR MISSION
The mission statement ICCWA is “To be a membership organization connecting, building and growing our members, businesses, partners and community.” We are committed to ensuring our members receive value for their membership:
Connecting our members to other businesses and individuals through a range of high quality networking activities and events.
Work closely with The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in Perth, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as Australian Government and other governing bodies to establish networking and business opportunities and align ourselves to strategic policies and priorities.
Promote the exchange of products, services, investment and ideas between Australia and Indonesia through strategic alliances, sharing of commercial intelligence and advocacy.
Developing business leaders and innovators by providing mentoring, marketing, guidance, educational and development opportunities to all members.
Assisting our members in running their business in WA by giving them an exclusive access to expertise, resources and insights.
Building healthy relationships with its members and stakeholders and nurturing partnerships that are mutually beneficial. Everyone in the Chamber contributes to the quality of the relationships and we actively seek feedback to enable us to provide excellent customer service.
Managing our own costs and, as an independent ‘not for profit’ organization, plough back any surpluses made to add value and enhance our service provision to members and other stakeholders.
Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing between our members and raising awareness of new thinking and new technology which could be advantageous to them, embracing it ourselves wherever possible.
